SwitchGenie is a simple, low cost light control system that saves energy and money by turning off individual lamps in fluorescent fixtures. Simpler and more efficient than dimming, SwitchGenie controls lamps in industrial plants, offices and retail buildings.

New, patented SwitchGenie ballast changes the way fixtures energize….one lamp at a time (Absolute Switching). The ballast
features individual internal switches which turn each lamp in the fixture on and off. The SwitchGenie smart ballast, together with a CONTROL switch or other input device, saves energy and gives multi-level light within a fixture and fixture groups. Patent numbers are 6960892 and 7199531. This SwitchGenie ballast is available in low ballast factor (.77 BF), normal ballast factor (.88 BF), or high ballast factor (1.15 BF).
